Matthew Wells — Licensed NC Home Inspector

Matthew Wells is the owner, operator, and home inspector for East Carolina Home Services. He is a highly experienced construction manager and designer, with a passion for working with families to move into safe and quality homes. Growing up in his family’s construction business gave Matthew an early start on understanding the intricacies of building homes, and at age 15 he began drawing home plans for the company and their clients. From there, his love of construction only grew.

A Diverse Background in Construction

Matthew graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Construction Management and went on to build custom homes for clients that were both beautiful and built to last. He then worked overseeing construction and renovations for large government buildings and facilities. His diverse background in construction and building design provides him with a unique perspective which makes him a highly detailed inspector who is reputable throughout the area.

Matthew’s Free Time

Matthew spends the majority of his spare time with his wife, two daughters, and his lab named Rosie. They enjoy riding ATVs and going to the beach. He loves to work so will even use his free time to provide home inspections for family and friends.
